The Dwarves

Hi everyone this is my first trial print from the new Phrozen Sonic Mini Resin Printer my Husband and I got (check the earlier post out on that). We have used the Phrozen Model Aqua Green Resin we bought with the printer to print these dwarfs. Taking the step of getting a Resin 3D printer for my hobby has been one I’m glad I’ve taken and to be honest I wish I had done it early, the possibilities with owning one for my hobbies are endless. I printed these in March 2020 and am honestly amazed at the quality and detail of the miniatures. I can not wait to paint these, although with both printers I am accumulating a large collection of half painted and half constructed items.

The stl files are from a great Kickstarter by Epic N Stuff called THE DWARVES.

I have always wanted a collection of dwarves and this is going to be where it started, I think also Thingiverse has a number of dwarves I also would love to print. But Epic N Stuff have a great collection here and a number of variations of stls and they look awesome and to be honest who can’t use a collection of dwarves for their warbands or DND games.

I’m continuing to test and get use to using the resin printer, changing sizes, getting use to supports and adhesion to the build plate is important when working with this type of printer.

I have used some old FDM bases I had laying around to get some stability under these little guys so to make them easier to prime and ready to paint.
