This miniature is a 3D print, the file was acquired through a site called Thingiverse. I did not own a mimic and wanted to see how my Ender 3 went printing a small miniature. It was one of my first experiments and I still needed to tweak the settings to get better quality with the layers.

I under coated the print with a black primer and then dry brushed in three brown shades. I painted the metal parts of the miniature in silver, washed the hole miniature in Nuln Oil and picked out some highlights, finishing with a dull coat.

I am finding 3D printing really fun and a cheap way to build up my collection of terrain and miniature's.

Since printing this piece, I have become a lot better using the Ender 3 and achieving nicer pieces.
