We purchased the

from Printable Scenery you can find this ship and more at www.printablescenery.com . I am loving the amount of detail on this boat; it is truly a stunning piece.

The Frigate Mk2 comes in two versions: ballista and cannon. Included in the .ZIP file are: separate deck layouts, interior fittings such as barrels and boxes, a removable ‘wake’ that simulates ship movement, cannons, ballista, and rigging clips. The separate decks can be used to simulate movement within the ship.

It is a completely new model compared to the original Frigate, and is designed to be printed in three parts.

This product is delivered as a .ZIP file pack containing STL files for use on a home 3D Printer. The files are set to 28mm scale but can be rescaled before printing.

We still need to add the ropes and sales and I would love to create a pirate based warband, so will be on the hunt for some cool mini’s soon to paint.

The ship has been printed on the Ender 3 using eSUN PLA+ Filament plastic. We have printed the ship to use in Frostgrave, DND and any other medieval RPG and Table top games.

I painted the Frigate MK2 in December of 2019 using the Monte Morte paint range for the wood and Army Painter, Vallejo and Citadel paints for the remaining details.

I have primed this piece with vehicle primer filler to cover some of the prints layer lines then I under coated in flat black spray. I have dry brushed with burnt sienna and then yellow ochre to achieve the wood look. I have dry brushed yellow and white under and around the lamps to create the glow effect, which turned out absolutely amazing. This has been one of my favourite terrain pieces to paint.
